Kabbalah Centre: Promoting Fulfillment

The Kabbalah Centre is a worldwide not-for-profit organization committed to disseminating the wisdom of Kabbalah. It was established in 1922 by a great Kabbalist Rav Yehuda Ashlag in Jerusalem. Its sole purpose is to provide people with tools and knowledge to help them improve their personal lives as well as bring order to the world. Through the Kabbalah wisdom, people can understand themselves better, lead more fulfilling lives, have a richer experience of themselves and become aware of their role in the universe. The center spreads it spiritual teachings online, through books and also via its regional and city-based study groups across the globe.

After the death of Rav Yehuda Ashlag, his student, Rav Brandwein took over in 1955. He disseminated the Kabbalah teachings through the writing of books. In 1969, he handed over the mantle to Rev Berg and his wife, Karen Berg. The two spearheaded the translation of Kabbalah wisdom to all languages of the world. This increased the reach of this ancient wisdom. They also opened Kabbalah centers in major cities of the world. The Kabbalah Centre was established in the United States of America in 1965 by Rav Berg and Rav Brandwein in New York. The Kabbalah Los Angeles Centre was started in 1984. Kabbalah Centre has over 50 branches worldwide spread across Europe, the Americas, the United States of America, Asia and Middle East.

By definition, Kabbalah is an ancient wisdom that decodes how the universe and life work. Kabbalah means ‘to receive,’ hence qualifying Kabbalah to be the study of how fulfillments are received in life. It is a spiritual system of logic and technology that can alter one’s perspective of life. This teaching gives life meaning and purpose, and it helps lead a fulfilling life. Kabbalistic wisdom is based on Zohar which the original manual of life. Zohar seeks to explain spiritual laws in depth through decoding of mysteries in the Torah (Bible).

It should be noted that Kabbalah isn’t a substitute religion but rather a supplemental branch to all faiths. Kabbalah Centre members apart from receiving teachings on the ancient wisdom, are also involved in volunteer activities worldwide and also in the local centers. Several celebrities who are involved in the Kabbalah Centre and its teachings include Madonna, Ashton Kutcher, Britney Spears, Ariana Grande, and Lindsay Lohan.
