In 1998, he was appointed as the Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was later promoted to becoming a professor of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at the University of Toronto. He diligently carried out his role as a professor until he retired from academics in 2017. Dr. Clokie has held executive positions on scientific advisory boards of numerous companies.
Clokie has made numerous presentations and published many papers both internationally and nationally on regenerative medicine and bone reconstruction. His publications are an important source of knowledge to most university students and medical practitioners.

Cameron Clokie attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1985. He was highly interested in the profession, so he went ahead to obtain a Ph. D. from the University of McGill where he specialized in bone regeneration that is related to interface development. Mr. Cameron has lectured on a global basis on various topics.
Most of his lectures are higher education technology transfer and oral regeneration. In 1993, while still working at McGill University, he dedicated his energy and time to establish a bone research group. In 1998, he moved to Toronto University to extend his endeavors.
