Vinny Parascandola is the current senior executive president of AXA Advisors, LLC, a leading broker, and dealer in the insurance industry. The firm also deals in a retail distribution company affiliated with the AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company in New York City. Vinnie, as he is also referred to by close associates, is in charge of recruitment, sales, management development, retention, productivity, and development of emerging, and experienced financial professionals.
Early Life and Education Background
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Vincent Parascandola attended Xaverian High School where he completed his high school education in 1979. He subsequently joined Pace University in New York completing his undergraduate education in 1983 obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree.
Parascandola has a long-standing career that began 30 years ago in 1987 as an agent with Prudential Life Assurance. His exemplary performance saw him named the National Rookie of the Year, an award that kick-started his career path. In 1990, he shifted to MONY Life Insurance Company where he held various local and field management positions in a period of 14 years. In 2004, he joined AXA as a co-president of the New York Metro Branch before becoming the divisional president in charge of The Advantage Group, a division of the AXA Equitable. He is a former chair of Field Officers Committee of LIMRA. Parascandola is a current member of the GAMA’s National LAMP Meeting.
In his long-running career, Parascandola has earned numerous awards related to his exemplary work in management. For instance, he has earned the Master Agency Awards and the GAMA’s Career Development Awards. As a highly experienced and successful financial advisor, Mr. Parascandola is a highly sought-after speaker in numerous organizations, industry conferences, and meeting throughout the United States. For example, he has been a guest speaker at GAMA’s National LAMP Meeting. He has appeared in LIMRA’s Distribution meetings and conferences adding more credibility as a high-flying speaker on management issues in the industry. He recently returned to his Alma Matter, Pace University, to give a commencement speech to the graduating class of 2014.
